Es una pena enorme que ya se vaya a cerrar definitivamente el centro comercial, ya que es un punto de encuentro para nuestra comunidad. Les queremos compartir nuestro mejor recuerdo del lugar. Este es la grabación de nuestro video Los Amantes, que la hicimos en los puestos de afuera del centro comercial y en las inmediaciones. Para nosotros fue muy importante grabarlo ahí, ya que la canción habla de nuestras propias historias como migrantes latinxs y el encuentro con otrxs. Estamos felices de tener ese registro, ya que el hacerlo implicó también el encuentro entre varias personas, migrantes de primera o segunda generación de o con conexión con latinoamérica. It is with great sorrow that we learn the news about the mall closing for good. It is an important place for our community. We want to share with you our best memory of the place. It is the recording of our music video Los Amantes, which was done in the stalls and nearby. For us, it was important to record it there, as the song speaks about our own stories as latinx migrants and the encounter with others. We are glad of having this recording, as to make it an encounter as well, between many people, migrants from first and second generation from Latinoamerica or with connection to it.
