I started here in 2003, there were beautiful places like the bingo, very nice book shops and clothes shops, Italian shops upstairs. In summer time I would do my barbecues, and I had a nice relationship with students from the university—I would prepare little dinners for them at the end of the month. I really had a wonderful time here. One thing I know is I met beautiful people, very very nice people, from all different countries, my of customers become like friends, become like family to me. We laugh, we talk, we have this nice relationship—people look forward to coming here, especially my Guyanese people.
