I tended to get a lot of people gathered around [my shop], it used to be like a social hub. They’d all have their opinions, they’d all have their ideas about what was good music and what was bad music. I used to say, with music, it’s good music if you like it, it’s bad music if you don’t. It’s got nothing to do with actual whether it’s good or bad, cos at the end of the day it’s what you like. What I did have an awful lot of, I had lots of people from all races, and that was good because you got to know lots of people from different cultures. One of the Rastafarian’s taught me to say “wagwan Rasta'' whenever he came down.
